Top Album List

I decided to come up with a top ten list of albums as well. I think this was moderately easier to come up with than the movies. Maybe because the music I like is more specific than my love of movies.

Once again, in no real particular order...

1. Metallica - Black
2. The Garden State Soundtrack
3. Nirvana - Nevermind
4. Willie Nelson - Half Nelson
5. Stone Temple Pilots - Core
6. Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
7. Coldplay - Parachutes
8. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
9. Led Zepplin - IV
10. Soundgarden - Superunknown

I like all of these for the sheer reason as that I could listen to any of them at almost any of the time all the way though. These are not albums with 1 or 2 good songs, but rather a entire album full of them. I only wish all albums were this good.

Charlie's List

Ok, I pestered my coworker into coming up with his own top 10 list. Here is Charlie's top 10 movies of all time...(in no particular order)

1. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
2. Usual Suspects
3. Big Fish
4. Lost in Translation
5. Ace Ventura
6. Full Metal Jacket
7. Pulp Fiction
8. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
9. Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark
10. Reservoir Dogs

There's a couple of these I haven't seen, so I can't totally pass judgement. I did like see most and would agree that they are all for the most part pretty good. Didn't care much for Ace Ventura though, but to each his own.

Top 10 Movies!

In my quest to put down on paper all of the DVD's that me and Chadd own (up to about 210)! I decided that I needed a top 10 list. Since everyone has one it seems like, I have decided to jump on the bandwagon.

It turned out to be quite a bit more difficult than I thought. I mean, some movies I just like, and I know I am probably the only person on the planet that would put it in their top 10, but I guess that's why it's my top 10 :).

I tried to go for a mix of actual good movies as well as movies that just amuse me. SO, without further adieu....my top ten (in no particular order).

1. Garden State
2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy
3. The Sound of Music
4. Schindler's List
5. American Beauty
6. Best in Show
7. Office Space
8. Father of the Bride
9. Pirates of the Carribbean
10. Fight Club

Honerable Mentions: Fantasia, The Wizard of Oz, It's a Wonderful Life, Star Wars, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

What do you think? I will be posting other people's top ten lists as I can get them. I think they are kinda fun to compare what different people think constitutes a good movie.
