Ringing in 2009 with an attempt to update and other Resolutions

So, it has been a long, long time. Since no one has ever really followed my blog I felt no real need to keep it up, but here I go again....

Resolutions for the new year anyone?

I have the always present resolution to try to eat better an exercise more. It is ongoing. I need to buy into the whole change of lifestyle thing, but it is so hard not to want to eat white bread and french fries on a consistent basis. I have decided that carbs are my main weakness. Sweets I don't miss...it is the chips at the mexican food restaurant or the bread they bring you at Outback. I know it is all about moderation, but frankly that isn't in my vocabulary when I have all you can eat chips sitting in front of me.

Moving on...my second resolution for the year is to take the GRE and possibly start school again in the fall. I am still torn about it though, because I still don't have a clue as to what I want to do when I grow up. Thought I would have figured this out by now, but as it stands, I don't. I looked at some practice questions today on the internet and feel fairly confident that I would do ok on the verbal. I read a decent amount and get my word of the day put in my inbox. :) The quantitative portion is a different story. I haven't done math since college, much less math without a calculator. Does anyone actually multiply fractions at work without a calculator? The curve ball thrown into this is that I don't have a clue as to how well I need to do on the test to actually get accepted. Do they take most everyone if you do average? P.S. ...I am not looking to apply to Harvard or anything, SO I wouldn't think it would be uber-competitive. But then again, I really have no idea. Thoughts? Input? Has anyone taken the GRE?

Thirdly, I would like to actually live with Chadd again. We are now going on about a year and a half with separate addresses and it is getting old. We still haven't decided what the resolution will be, but it shall be a priority. The pains of having free rent!

I hope everyone has a great 2009!
